Born and raised in the Ozarks, Casey is the lead composer, sound designer, and audio engineer at Northwind and is experienced in writing for film, commercials, video games, and trailers. His creative process revolves around melding together unique timbres to discover abnormal, intriguing new sounds.

 

He's worked as an audio engineer at National Audio Company - the largest remaining professional cassette production company in the States - recording, mixing, and mastering music to be duplicated in the cassette and reel-to-reel formats.

 

He's also worked freelance with a wide range of directors, animators, programmers, producers, and other composers. He's continually contracted to write original music and design sound for the studio, Dogbotic; this has led his music to be used in commercials for Life Is Good, animations for Oddfellows, and ad campaigns for progressive change in California.

He currently reside in Burbank, CA with his wife and loves to spend his free time bowling and tinkering with electronics.
